Thank You for Joining the Debate!
The Regional Debate “Competencies of the Future – Is Change the Only Constant?” is behind us – a session where, together with experts, we explored the challenges posed by rapid social and technological change.
What are competencies of the future?
They are not entirely new skills, but rather a set of universal, timeless abilities that gain new relevance in the context of the future. We discussed, among others:
• critical thinking
• flexibility
• openness to change
• cross-sector collaboration
• communication and self-directed learning
We emphasized that the future of competencies is also the future of education and the labor market. There is a growing need for better information flow, stronger collaboration between education and business, and more support in career planning – not only for young people.
We also reflected on the value of campus environments as spaces for testing new models of collaboration, advancing sustainability, and implementing innovation.
Once again, thank you to all participants – speakers, attendees, and everyone who joined us via the livestream!
