Thank you for co-creating the future of university Living Labs!

On April 25, 2025, at the Faculty of Management and Social Communication of the Jagiellonian University, the event “University Living Labs: From Idea to Reality” took place — a special day full of inspiration, exchange of experiences, and the establishment of new partnerships.

Together, we searched for the best ways to build and develop a network of collaboration around university living labs. We believe this is just the beginning of efforts that will allow us to better respond to socio-economic needs and strengthen the role of universities as active participants in their environment.

We extend our sincere thanks to our keynote speakers: Despoina Petsani (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and Konstantinos Kourkoutas (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) for their highly inspiring speeches, which demonstrated how the idea of living labs can transform educational and social spaces and build innovative environments for collaboration.

We thank all representatives of MOLEcoLAB, CTTP40, DT HUB UEW, and Science Hub UŁ for sharing their experiences and practical examples of how living labs operate. Your stories showed how much creative energy and engagement can be found in Polish initiatives!

We express our deepest gratitude to all participants who came from across Poland – representing universities, research institutes, technology parks, and organizations supporting innovation. Your presence and active participation in the discussions were extremely valuable to us.
